Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Gogo's build...two days maybe.... 3501Aug 02, 2012 9:17 am What can I say?????? Your home is looking just - when we were due to get our keys I was absolutely conviced we wouldn't be getting them as there was so much left to do from the PCI but we did get them ... in our case we should have told them to keep the keys till everything was done ... we were lucky that we had the rental for another month or so which helped with stress levels ... So the moral of the story is don't get your hopes up ... after what has happened so far ... but good luck and I hope everything works out - it has been one hell of a trip that's for sure and one I'm glad I was able to share it .... Enjoy your sparkles!!! For info on our build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43093 Built the McLaren by Dechellis - slab down 22 Feb - handover 30 Aug 2011 - and gardens finished 9 Dec 2012!! We are so good at giving advice to each other, we just don't follow it ourselves... So I suppose I should give you an update. Well they seemed to pull a rabbit out of their hat. The new SS is amazing and is onto everything, I think he was there all day getting things sorted. Front door and staircase has been stained and looks great, timber floor has been cleaned but still very dusty. Painting is nearly finished just left around the fireplace. Aircon in fly screens in. Lots of painting touch ups done. Stairs from laundry done. So what's left, tiles to outside laundry stairs, bath installed and shower rails in ensuite to be installed, towel rails to be installed, pantry door on, a few other taps, a downpipe and that's about it So just a couple of photos, still waiting for kitchen to be completed and appliances to be installed before I show you piccies, no point showing fireplace cause it is all covered up ready for painting, can't show ensuite as bath not in, but just a few of other stuff Looking to front door Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Looking from upstairs Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Main bath Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Front door Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Photo from the front, but the colours are teribble, the bricks look reddy but their not at all but you get the idea Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Gogo's build...it's happening tomorrow!!!!!!!!! 3506Aug 02, 2012 6:59 pm Congrats Gogo a new journey is about to begin for you and your family enjoy the ride.
