I have seen both gogo and kiwi in the flesh (not too much flesh, I might add). I confirm both are mad as hatters. And I am absolutely certain both would get on like a house on fire. Or set the house on fire. Seeing as this is actually supposed to be a house building forum that is probably appropriate. But just letting you know, I am not offering my house for any meeting I've got to bloody get it built first anyways... Umm NO-Our builder supplies us a nice square undermount one, we are just going to go with the that. OK No problems he says, he starts getting prices on the ovens etc and we are wandering around looking at fridges etc and happen to come across the sinks Now hubby hasn't really been convinced on the undermount sinks, as we have friends who have one and say they are a pain to clean under the rim, I have been a little worried aout them chipping etc, so we see this: http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff468/gogo65/barazzasink.jpg and it matches this: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ . It is a flushmount sink by Barazza so matches the cooktop perfectly...Price $1400. DH says I think we should just pay and get that, I think I agree. What do you think?? Re: Gogo's build-Plans lodged- finally! 338Oct 15, 2011 7:28 pm Wow, if you can afford it, go with it... looks very nice Re: Gogo's build-Plans lodged- finally! 339Oct 15, 2011 7:50 pm hm... did you check out the Zen ranges? I think they have them as undermount but not flushmount, will double check, we had originally looked at the double bowl sq undermount that Zen have in the showroom. I dont think many do an actual flushmount sink, maybe only franke and abey/barazza? Also want to check the quality of the stainless steel of the Zen range. When we put a new kitchen in our old house, we put in a relatively expensive good quality stainless steel sink at around $1200 (in 1999) looked just as good the day we sold it Maybe if we can get a proper flushmount from Zen, we can install it and change later, problem with undermount is you cant change it easily Hey T I lasted a whole day not doing house stuff, not quite 6weeks Oh we also choose the tiles for our pool and alfresco today I work with owner, he/she is my man on the ground and I instruct them when to visit the site and take photos and I have other tools in the bag. 4 15844 I am in the same situation, would you be able to give some insights in to this? I am in SA 8 17652 Depends what you're current inclusions are, but we're not including wardrobes and will just use second hand ones until we can save later on to get them built. Also have a… 3 12207 |
