I've still got a lot of information to post too. Re: Our Henley (Cooper) build - Geelong 4Apr 20, 2011 10:01 am Hi, Since I have been off work sick I have had time to update my Blog. It still has a bit of work to go but we will get there!! I have now updated external Colours and added new pictures to the Blog. Slab is curing well and we have had pretty good weather the last 5 - 6 days. Looks like Henley are waiting until after the Easter break to continue work on the place. This suits us fine as it gives the slab a good 2 weeks cure time. Excess dirt has now been removed and fill has been placed where needed. Ill post here all of my colour selections etc on my next post and have internal colours and fitting's hopefully updated on my Blog. Re: Our Henley (Cooper) build - Geelong 7Apr 30, 2011 10:10 pm HI, Framing has now started to go up and window frames have been delivered along with the sliding doors, Were getting pretty excited now because we can actually see the rooms coming together. I would think that my mid next week all roof trusses will be erected and windows popped in. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to put roof tiles on and times for bricking up a house Blog has now been updated!! Exciting times..... Re: Our Henley (Cooper) build - Geelong 8May 05, 2011 11:34 pm Hi all I know its late and I am replying to myself again. Oh well. I have new pictures up on our blog now. Windows and sliding doors have been installed, bricks have been delivered and external door frames are there. It looks as though the garage bricks will be installed soon to allow the garage roof trusses to be installed. I have also just found out a mate of mine will be doing the lockup and fixout stage which is a bonus for us, I guess I can get him to put a few timbers in the Cinema room for the speaker mounts while he is there too. I wonder what else I can get him to do?? Anyway I hope you all enjoy the updated pics. Cheers Re: Our Henley (Cooper) build - Geelong 9May 05, 2011 11:37 pm Henley did our roof tiles in 3 days I think... and bricking went over Christmas... took maybe 2 weeks all up... Re: Our Henley (Cooper) build - Geelong 10May 06, 2011 3:06 pm just Erin Henley did our roof tiles in 3 days I think... and bricking went over Christmas... took maybe 2 weeks all up... I have a bad memory though!! Thanks Erin, We just got heads up from the CSA that the bricks on the garage should be started monday and then the rest of the roof frame will be completed. My guess is after that we would have finished the framing stage. Re: Our Henley (Cooper) build - Geelong 11May 13, 2011 10:07 am Looks awesome Steve! I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17592 of course there are legal avenues. You've already mentioned it. Sue them.
