Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 17, 2011 9:58 am Hello everyone!
Just wondering, we signed with a house and land package and due to unforeseen events, we are now thinking of changing our house plans and lot size to a bigger one, but still with the same builder and developer. Unfortunately, we signed the building contract already, but no settlement yet as we are still waiting for land titles. Could we do this? I've read the contract numerous times but it doesn't give me anything. We need to upgrade our room number. Thank you. Srichz Re: Building contract signed, switching plans..feasible? 2Apr 17, 2011 10:23 am I would contact your builder and developer direct and talk to them as they would be the ones who could tell you whether or not you are able to make the changes. Good luck. Re: Building contract signed, switching plans..feasible? 5Apr 17, 2011 2:13 pm Hi jasmin3, Unfortunately, we've signed the building contract. We've spoken to the agent, he seems a bit annoyed that after all the paperworks, we're gonna change plans (fair enough), he said he'll look into it this Monday. Re: Building contract signed, switching plans..feasible? 7May 29, 2011 5:02 pm Hi Amandaander, Sorry forgot to check my other posts. Yes thank God they allowed us to change house plans and lot size but the downside is we lost the free aircon and possibly a 10,000 bonus card? A bit sad but in the end, it all goes to what we are happy with and we're gonna be living in a house that we love. You talk about deletions, are they variations or PS and PC adjustments? pleas list them 1 16569 I've decided, after a period of confusion (my building broker told me it's probably not worth it to use a lawyer, but others have said it is a must) that I definitely will… 7 27958 |
