Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 15, 2011 7:02 pm Hi, We have decided to build again (6 months after moving into our new house) and have bought a block of land in Sandhurst. we are required to render the whole house and was wondering if anyone can give us an idea of what this may cost? We are looking to build a double story home of about 26 squares. We also have to have eaves, does anyone know the cost per meter of 600mm eaves? Ta Re: Cost of rendering whole house and of having eaves 2Apr 15, 2011 9:49 pm I got a quote for rendering $15000, but this has only just been the first one, we are only about 170sqm. (single story) So if you choose a house that already has them, it can help! I am guessing it would be the same with the render! Re: Cost of rendering whole house and of having eaves 4Apr 15, 2011 11:57 pm If the entire house has to be rendered, you could look at an alternative material such as Hebel. I think it may work out cheaper to use that and render than to have brink and render. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. No idea about your eaves, but we had both houses quoted for render to facade. The PD double story that we didn't build worked out at just under $10k & the single story Carlisle about $3k. Conclusion; either double is dearer, or PD. Or both? Will probably depend on your builder! Good luck Building Carlisle Homes "Monaco" @ The Avenue at Casey What's happening?...
