We have decided to build again (6 months after moving into our new house) and have bought a block of land in Sandhurst. we are required to render the whole house and was wondering if anyone can give us an idea of what this may cost? We are looking to build a double story home of about 26 squares.
We also have to have eaves, does anyone know the cost per meter of 600mm eaves?

I got a quote for rendering $15000, but this has only just been the first one, we are only about 170sqm.

We have to have 600mm eaves, but the house we chose already had 450mm so the upgrade was only $1100 for approx 32 squares... (single story) So if you choose a house that already has them, it can help! I am guessing it would be the same with the render!

If the entire house has to be rendered, you could look at an alternative material such as Hebel. I think it may work out cheaper to use that and render than to have brink and render.
I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself.

WOW you guys!! Can't believe the avenue is going to lose you so soon!
No idea about your eaves, but we had both houses quoted for render to facade. The PD double story that we didn't build worked out at just under $10k & the single story Carlisle about $3k. Conclusion; either double is dearer, or PD. Or both? Will probably depend on your builder!

That's the way to do it! Every little bit you can save counts. I will likely choose a similar path for my build, proberly pay a builder to get it to lock up stage/…
