Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 13, 2011 1:25 pm Is it realistic that we could reach 20 June and have the house at practical completion when we have only been plastered (not locked up yet)? It was supposed to be at PC by 25 May but they added days for public holidays. There has been little action on site and all that happended in March was insulation/gyprock (I understand it's only an 'anticipated' date but I still like to cling to it). Are we likely to meet that date or destined to go over? But I absolutely believe that it is a possibilty. Another memeber on here, LeanneR is about 11 weeks into her build and they are just about to begin her tiling, which goes to show how fast they can work if they put their mind to it! It would stuff up so many plans if it went much over that date. We are doing the large area floor coverings and appliances ourselves. It's just so frustrating when nothing happens for weeks.
