I don't think we can get mail delivered down there yet but was told we need to put our names on a list so that when there's enough of us Auspost will start delivering?? Anyone heard of this?? All mail is being held at the Auspost shop on Peter Street, Grovedale. The manager there said he was going to let the area manager know that there are enough people living here to commence delivery. Didn't hear about a list though... Thanks I'll drop by the Peter St post office and see what's happening. Trying to find out when the NBN might be ready, asked Leonie but she wasn't too sure. I have heard November but when I spoke to iinet the estate didn't even register on their system for the NBN so they told me it may be quite a while yet. Anyone know any more about it?? If i'm reading the Geelong council website properly, it's Tuesday. Armstrong Creek isn't on there yet, but Connewarre is Re: anyone building in armstrong creek? 271Sep 22, 2012 10:44 am Titch101 cjb All mail is being held at the Auspost shop on Peter Street, Grovedale. NBNco's map at http://www.nbnco.com.au/rollout/rollout-map.html?icid=pub:hme:rollout:hro:img (search for Connewarre) has it marked as "Work commenced". I would imagine that when services are available, it will show up in retail ISPs' databases. What was your initial date? I am desperately hoping we don't have all the delays the other side had. Yeah, we got a letter too, but it was confirming a June Settlement... which we were originally told April & I believe people before us were told February. I'm with you on the delays! Makes it kind of difficult to plan your life! Sounds like your section is all going to plan though. Its looking good down there now! I noticed there were street lights going in this week. Re: anyone building in armstrong creek? 277Sep 26, 2012 10:21 am Ainslee Does anyone know if we are obliged to pay for the lock up stage if we haven't had an inspection? Or should we wait for the inspection before we sign off? Im not sure exactly Ainslee, we had 7 days to pay the invoice before intrest was charged? maybe speak to your liason and explain your waiting for the inspection before your payment. they mite waive the intrest penalties. Re: anyone building in armstrong creek? 278Sep 28, 2012 11:04 am I called the nbnco and registered as a resident for warralily updates so I should receive emails as things progress for the estate. At this stage I have been told we should be able to connect to a provider in december but that was originally June and has been pushed back further each month so I won't hold my breath. I will post updates as I receive them, let's hope they pull their finger out and get it sorted!!
