For info on our build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43093 Built the McLaren by Dechellis - slab down 22 Feb - handover 30 Aug 2011 - and gardens finished 9 Dec 2012!! Re: Matt's Brando - Getting Plastered!! 84May 28, 2011 1:22 pm I received an email while interstate on business that our bathroom laminex colours were discontinued and could we come in that day or the next to choose new ones, as they're to be installed next week! ARGH PANIC! The wife had to go in solo and make an executive decision, but the new colours look pretty great. I really wasn't expecting things to move this fast. I guess I'm realistically looking at a PCI in July now (probably when I'm in Japan ). I need to get serious about things like breaking the lease, rounding up neighbours for fencing, ordering curtains and all that. Panic stations! Our tiles were discontinued, in some areas. We had to pick new ones, so I know how you felt. City of Whittlesea will give you all of the neighbours details for the fences. Re: Matt's Brando - Lockout and Colours Changed 86Jun 04, 2011 1:57 pm Painting has started, they're working all weekend. Cabinets delayed and due to be installed on Tuesday now. Piccies! A little lighter than I was expecting, I thought it would be a bit more of a muddy green. I'll be interested to see how it looks when it's finished and the tiles and cabinetry are installed. Good news on your concrete. Is that your driveway and path / steps? Did your painters come back to do touch ups as promised? A little lighter than I was expecting, I thought it would be a bit more of a muddy green. I'll be interested to see how it looks when it's finished and the tiles and cabinetry are installed. Good news on your concrete. Is that your driveway and path / steps? Did your painters come back to do touch ups as promised? The driveway, path, no steps, they never made the garage lower than the house, originally our Sales Rep told us that we would have 2 steps from the garage to the house, but when the slab was laid, they only had the normal step down from the garage, it's not too steep. No the painters never turned up, but the concrete was being done and they need to paint the front door, that was being concreted in the colored concrete as well, so they wouldn't have been able to do it. They have to paint the render, so they should be back tomorrow, I hope. Telstra tomorrow, we booked them in for the smart box. How many coats have the painters done? It will change color as they put more coats on, do you have a sample to match it against the paint. Photo's never show the true color, especially when the house is empty. I bet you can't wait for your cabinets, the shape of the house will really come together then.
