We are having boral concrete tiles. I was wondering on average how long this stage usually takes?? We have a double storey. I think our roof area is 277 sqm from memory. I will hope for 1 week then. You are so right on the size of the crew... Our bricking took 7.5 weeks as only one guy and a young labourer to help! I hope we have more people on the roofing! That was with the ridge tile pointing done too thank goodness as it's pretty blowy here tonight. Their's is a single storey around 30 squares. Ours only took a day too. Then we had a deluge ... but all was good even without finished cementing etc. But, I don't know how many people there were. Also depends if you have sarking - that alone can be longer than the first 2 tasks together. My signature is distracting people from my wise posts ... Yep, we are having sarking so will be a longer process for us. The first floor guttering and eaves were done on Tuesday (nothing on site yesterday) and it looked like they were ready to commence this morning (just waiting on delivery of materials). I assume that they are going to do all the top floor and then remove the scaffolding and then do the bits on the ground floor. I am just hoping all the first floor gets finished before this weather turns.
