Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 02, 2011 8:08 pm Hi everyone, Just trying to gather opinions about driveway options? There will also be a path to our front door in the same material We have had a quote for exposed agg - it was $96 Sq mtre (Inc GST). It pushed the cost to nearly $6k!! Was a bit more than I had hoped. Or if anyone knows of another company? We would pay cash. We are also considering poured limestone or coloured concrete (perhaps in a lighter shade), but don't know anyone who has done that or what the pros/cons are. There are cheaper options - but is it the better one? Any opinions would be valued! Thanks in advance! Re: Driveway Options? Thanks for the advice!! Appreciated. Re: Driveway Options? Agg vs limestone vs coloured concrete 5Apr 03, 2011 10:31 am less susceptable the darker it is. Also the LL has a more porous nature Where you are coming from is where you are going to... To my understanding early saw cuts are to control shrinkage cracks, so doing them now would be pointless. Control joints may reduce ugly cracking during periods of soil… 3 9858 Hi all I need a guidance on how far I need to space expansion joints in the concrete driveway and its type (keyway/foam.)
