This may seem like an odd question. But I've only just really learned about what the wafflepod slab that goes under my planned new house is, and wondered if the void zones in it make is feel or sound hollow to walk / dance / jump on?
We've been renting in places with suspended beams for so long. I know a lot of people like this but it's starting to feel like we live on the skin of a drum where every little bump and noise is amplified. I was rather looking forward to living on a foundation again, but then learned about these void zones.
Tell me it aint so!
