Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 27, 2011 11:39 am Hi Folks, I am in the mdist of changing my heater and add on cooling. I am in Melbourne and have a home recently renovated to 31 sq. 4 BR, Family, Kitchen, Lounge, Theatre, Alfresco and 3 Toilets..I have a Single phase electiricty currently. I have been recommended a Brivis HX35i with a 38CDA15 add-on cooling with zoning with 4-5 smart temp control sensor. The quote is 15K to remove old and replace all with new unit, ducts, square vents to 14 outlets.. I am keen to know if single phase will do the job and would not impact the electrical reqmts of the house temperature sensors will be effective in zoning is the amount quoted in the ball park.. Thanks for any advice and thoughts.. Re: Brivis Ducted heating & Add-on Cooling 2Mar 29, 2011 1:42 pm srinster, we were quoted around $12k by our volume builder for a Brivis ME35i unit with addon refridge cooling and 11 outlets with dual zone control (upstairs and downstairs) in our double store 44sq home. I'm not a professional in this area, but i would say the amount is in the ball park. We've also have installed 3 phase power because of the A/C. Also note that we didn't get the smart temp control sensors so i can't comment on that. Not too sure how they work with the smart temp controllers - must be a new feature with the HX series. Price wise it may be a bit on the high side but may be due to being an existing build. go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 110573 The last home I lived in didn't have a pool and when i went to sell it the agents were not happy, even telling me to put one in to sell the place.
