They say that they are the only builder in Melbourne who still regularly do conventional roofing and that it is more durable but more expensive than roof trusses. I have done a google search and there seem to be a lot of articles disputing this (although some of these seem to be by truss manufacturers). Does anyone have any opinions on this. BTW the current plan does not have an attic. I have personally known of truss roofes that have lasted more than 40 years without showing any signs of deterioration so I would have thought the durability of trusses is more than good enough.
