Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 16, 2011 9:54 am Hello, I'm wondering if anyone could post a picture of their house if they have used colourbond "bushland" on their render or garage door? I'm still tossing up whether or not to go bushland or Dune? We have a dark charchol roof Thank you Re: Colourbond "bushland" or "Dune" on render? Boral would have tou believe Dune is a light grey/blue colour but the Dulux site makes it look like a brown Re: Colourbond "bushland" or "Dune" on render? Re: Colourbond "bushland" or "Dune" on render? Pictures? 4Mar 23, 2011 11:12 am My Render, roller doors, facia and roofing are all Colourbond Dune. Note the render on the upper parapet is NOT painted in the frontage pics (hence diff colour, house is now all one shade). I really need to take some up to date pics of my house: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v669/4NICK8/House/DSC01467.jpg Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v669/4NICK8/House/23.jpg and here is some patch ups Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Colourbond "bushland" or "Dune" on render? Pictures? 5Mar 24, 2011 2:46 am Hi Elly189, If you see them in real life, Dune definitely has cream undertones, not at all grey or blue. Bushland is a green/grey colour. I'm guessing your roof is either Ironstone or Monument - Ironstone is grey with a purple undertone, Monument is a very dark charcoal, almost black. If you have Monument, you could go with either colour as Monument is so dark anything will match. If you've got Ironstone I think Bushland would not look right, as you are combining a purple grey with a green grey. Alternatively have you considered shale grey if you are looking for a grey theme? It is a more "true" pale grey, one of my faves If you are unsure, try going into a colorbond showroom, or perhaps your builder has samples you can look at and hold next to each other? Regardless of wall hung toilet or floor pan toilet your feet will be right on drain, seems to me the waste should not be in that location given the design. Also are you… 6 7041 Yes i guess this is one of the main reason as i checked one post foundation 4 9994 Cheers. The painted render is a bit chalky to the touch. To prepare the surface for best adhesion, what would you recommend? Also, given that there must be some… 6 8509 |
