Very simple garden that will need to grow to take shape. I will add more to it once we save some more money but its a start. The Backyard now has turf but no gardens as yet..this was prior to turf.. Re: Wisdom Majestic - Outdoor progress 327Sep 26, 2012 2:46 pm Pool Progress... Today the pebbles were done.. the guys arrived at 6am and left just after 1pm. there were 4 of them and they worked non stop. It will get a light acid clean in the afternoon and then they will start filling the pool. We picked a standard white pebble. I would have loved to have had the extra $$$$ for the blue and black glass to be mixed through but that money will go towards the surrounds of the pool... as its currently mud... All in all once filled with water it will have a blue water effect. Re: Wisdom Majestic - Pool almost complete 328Sep 26, 2012 10:55 pm Cass, All looking so good. So nice to have grass and plants at the front. We have started the other way around and done all the planting and grass at the back and the front is still a pile of dust and dirt. Can't wait to see the pool filled, looking beautiful. I think we have gone with the same pebble colour internally so looking forward to seeing yours filled up. Have they installed the pump and all the other bits as yet ?? Keep posting those pics.. .. Re: Wisdom Majestic - Pool almost complete 329Sep 26, 2012 11:06 pm Great progress for your pool, Cass!! Re: Wisdom Majestic - Pool almost complete 330Sep 27, 2012 6:15 pm and we are filling with water!!!! yay will post pics shortly... yippeee Re: Wisdom Majestic - Pool almost complete 332Sep 27, 2012 9:10 pm Re: Wisdom Majestic - Pool almost complete 334Sep 27, 2012 9:36 pm Cass, looks fantastic. As gogo said its nice to see the pool without the waterline tiles. We added them then removed them from the contract as our pool is not the biggest and wanted to create a clean unbroken line, so I think we have been able to achieve that look after seeing yours as I have been in two minds. Will your pebbles give a greenish colour or blueish colour to the water ?? Between your pool and gogos I need to get into gear . DD;s 3rd birthday is in a fortnight and asked for a Lalaloopsy pool party. Trying to explain to her that it is not ready is my challenge at the moment. Re: Wisdom Majestic - Pool almost complete 335Sep 27, 2012 9:36 pm Wow, great looking pool, Cass! Ooh, your son better stay away a bit, I'm worried easily... Re: Wisdom Majestic - Pool almost complete 336Sep 27, 2012 10:20 pm Wilcress, that is my cautious son... its my 5 year old that was outside of the pool fence because he wanted to jump in. Both my children can swim well and my 8 year old attended state swim championships this year so at least when they are in the pool they can have freedom to swim. I am very cautious now when it comes to the pool because I fear that even children that can swim can drown. I have already made some very clear rules to my children regarding the pool, and the gates have locks on them as both my children can open the gate. It took my a long time to decide to put a pool in but our rules are no adult within the pool area, means no swimming. they are the rules. Supervising is good because I can sit and just watch them.. better than housework... FYI just checked the pool we are half full or half empty But back to my essay writing.. boo hooo Re: Wisdom Majestic - Pool almost complete 337Sep 28, 2012 9:13 am Pool looks great Cass! Great rule!! Hope to see more pics and updates! Re: Wisdom Majestic - Pool almost complete 339Sep 28, 2012 6:30 pm Cass, my kids are the same, have been high level swimmers and we have had a pool since the oldest one was a baby, but we still had rules, even now at 17 and 19, I don't like them in the pool by themselves! Oh and our other rule was must have a rashie/sun top on, I always had plenty spare for friends, that way everyone had to wear one and I didn't have my kids whinging that no one else has one on Re: Wisdom Majestic - Pool almost complete 340Nov 01, 2012 3:11 pm Hi, guys!
