NBG - Building the Buckingham (Study option) in SouthEastern My building thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=49878 Re: NBG Windsor 43E - Our dream home build by the beach 42Oct 24, 2011 2:43 pm jnny123 - I did up the interior selection list but had a computer glitch during the forum post and the whole thing deleted . Will re-post them soon. The build is going ahead in leaps & bounds, so much action every day. Such a contrast to earlier times. I feel like I'm bragging when there are other nbg clients that are feeling such frustration, I really hope things improve & speed up for all others on this forum. It really could have gone either way for us - we were just lucky the builder empathised. We are due to move in next Friday. All the timber flooring has been completed and we are happy with it (although it is a little more red than expected). We love the tiles and our ensuite would be my favourite room so far. Anyone that chose Beaumont 'Anthracite' will be really happy, it's an awesome colour (wish I had of picked it for the kids bathroom). Super thrilled with the interior paint job and love the colour we chose. Can't wait for stegbar to do the wardrobe fit outs & showers, also will be interested to see how the wip & laundry shelving ends up looking. Still nervous about the green kitchen splash back going in, but it will all be over soon and I won't be sooking about it for much longer We are really happy with the quality of the work and the builder has been meticulous in picking up any defects as we go, this will ensure a smoother handover. I have gone from extremely unimpressed with the whole process to being very satisfied. Hope I can say the same at the end of next week! I have uploaded heaps of pics on my blog, but as usual I'm time poor and haven't put forum pics up yet. http://8eightisenough.blogspot.com/ Link to thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=45130&p=744918#p744918 Building the Windsor 43E by NBG Re: NBG Windsor 43E - Our dream home build by the beach 43Oct 24, 2011 7:44 pm had a look at your blog, place is looking amazing, I am so glad the builder got cracking so you had somewhere to go when you had to leave the rental. I am totally jealous, I am stil waiting for the roof to be finished and the rough ins to be done, its totally pathetic only about 5 days work done in the past two months. We are really happy with it Hoping the tiles on the balcony floor were off to a start today, getting it level has been a wee problem & builder was also worried about rain - this is the only thing that could hold things up majorly, no tiles = no balustrading which would be a safety issue preventing us from moving in. Fingers crossed Equineaffair - that is really, really poor. I really hope they get moving soon! Off to check out both your threads... http://8eightisenough.blogspot.com/ Link to thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=45130&p=744918#p744918 Building the Windsor 43E by NBG Re: NBG Windsor 43E - Our dream home build by the beach 47Oct 28, 2011 7:42 am Hooley dooley, they've made up time on your place! Looking great! From the pics on your blog, the finishes look very good as well. How nice to have an understanding builder too! And great job with colours, they have come together nicely. Re: NBG Windsor 43E - Our dream home build by the beach 48Nov 01, 2011 9:16 am Gogo65 - yeah the Anthracite is great if you want your tiles to make a statement. They are a tad lighter than pics show, much prefer them to the Cement tile we put in our other bathroom. Thanks Mike. It is amazing how quickly they *can* get things done Updates....
