Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 06, 2011 9:14 pm Hi, Deciding whether to build with a steel frame or wooden frame. Another builder told me that you can hear creaking noises when the steel frame is heating up and cooling down. Just wondering if anyone is living in a house with steel frame or has some answers as to whether this is true. Thanks Meve Re: Steel Frames 2Mar 07, 2011 7:44 am Quote: Another builder told me that you can hear creaking noises when the steel frame is heating up and cooling down.
