So apart from the LED lights, rest look ok?

How about speakers wiring in alfresco?
Security system.
Any dimmer switches for theater and bed rooms ?
Two way switches for hallway, staircase?
External data points for CCTV cameras, they can run on power over Ethernet.

Thanks, added to the list.

Are you having ceiling fans? If so, you may want the wiring done for them so that you can get only the fan put in after handover.

The rest look fine,

With LED, if you can get 90 degree globes @ 12 - 15 v, then 2 lights per bed room would be more than ample. With 75+ LED's your ceiling will look busy.

The display homes over do it with lights, it makes the homes look bright an shinny.

Also make sure you have added double GPO's everywhere. Cheaper to get them installed will building.

Hi Tstr1a

Whether we can request 90 degree LED with PD or it will cost us extra?

Also, for the groud floor of waldorf 48, how many LED you recon will be sufficient , thanks
28 for upstairs sounds right, I'm thinking about 35 downstairs. All depends on your lighting needs.
We used floor lamps mainly and down lights or turned on when cooking for when visitors come.

we also have pendant lights above kitchen bench Chandeliers add feature light above staircase.
3 lights on wall running up our contemporary stair case.

We won't use LED at bedroom, so, mainly for family/lounge/ dinning/rumpus/ hallway downstairs.

BTW, they are very so expensive ...$130/each..............even 35 LED downstairs will cost us 5K..........
Hi All,

We have just signed Tender for Waldorf 46 and looking forward to our electrical/color appointment next week.

My question is,
1. Does Porter Davis provide fiber Optic ceiling for theatre?
If yes, has anyone got it done by PD?

2. How much does it cost(price break down for 4.0 M x 5.5 M) Full ceiling / front half ceiling?

3. If Porter Davis does not provide with Fiber Optic ceiling, what should be the next best option to look at?

Thanks in advance

Just got a call from PD Head Office... our Tender appointment is on Feb 28th.

Can someone please explain what we are going to receive in the mail next week?
Has anyone been out to have a look at the new Waldorf 48 at Berwick? If so... what are your impressions?

I have my tender appointment on the 30th Jan which is next week, I haven't receive anything in the mail.
I don't think PD will send you the tender documents to review. It's all done in their office.

Should just be a confirmation letter of the appointment, from memory, plus some brief info on what to bring. Same thing with Hopetoun and the Tile Boutique ... they call you first, then send you written confirmation of the appointments.

Didn't know about it, but I'm curious now ....! Dangerous for us to walk through, given we can't change anything, but might still go check it out as we're often in the area there. Do you like it?

This is quite a list! You could consider putting overhead cupboards above the fridge and increasing the pitch on your roof?

If you don't mind me asking, how much did the wooden roof for the Glossword ceilings and the timber look Garage door cost you?

I haven't been yet... we live in Bendigo so it's a long way to go. The problem is that we like the look of Hamptons style.
