Some minor paint touch up's to go, connect the water tank to the gutter and it all done. Next stage is to do the internal plastering, hopefully just after Christmas. Check it out, good addition to our Waldorf: Re: Building a Waldorf by Porter Davis 1283Nov 25, 2013 4:18 pm tstr1a Hope everyone's build is travelling well. Thanks its just a classic look of a shed, wanted to be a feature rather than a metal shed. One side will be fitted with cabinets. Re: Building a Waldorf by Porter Davis 1286Dec 03, 2013 8:44 pm Question: Where should a Wifi Router be placed to ensure that both floors get acceptable coverage? This is a tricky question because to me the obvious answer would be to have two but that is not possible without a lot of extra effort. I am in the process of planning to build the Waldorf 48 + Guest Bedroom + Second Alfresco. If you want to see my list of changes and upgrades please, as well my Google SketchUp 3D design (with no colour selections) go to... Code: http://goo.gl/2GmsLC You will need the latest version of SketchUp to view it. Suggestions are very greatly appreciated!!! Suggestions are very greatly appreciated!!! can not see your floorplan but saw your upgrade and interested to know how could keep it under 30K ? The floor plan is the SketchUp file. Due to copyright reasons I can't upload the official floor plan however it is a combination of the Guestroom Bedroom and Alfresco 2 options for downstairs and the shared bathroom option for upstairs which you can view on the PD website... sorry! The cost of the upgrades has not been fully quoted yet, hence the reason why the cost is so low. The items that have prices next to them are ones that I have already extracted out of the Sales Consultants. We are going to be getting everything quoted and will take out the things that we can't afford (which will probably be at a limit of $150k). This will mean that the total cost of the house will be around $500k... which simply blows my mind! Re: Building a Waldorf by Porter Davis 1299Dec 13, 2013 9:17 am Scott2233 any one knows how much PD charge for rendering on Brick? thx should be no more than $45 per sqm. They also charge an additional $300 if you select more than one render colour.... I know it's a rip. Consider doing after handover if it's not a big section. Thanks Tstr1a We like the render finish of Sterling facade and want to choose Brick (instead of Hebel). Since the full render on Brick will cost too much , we might just render the facade (front part+ a bit side part) , excluding the standard facade render area PD has provided, the Sqm we need will be around 60-70 sqm, seems it is a workable option to us if it is 45$/sqm , say, another 3K might can do the job Three options 1 Ask the liquidator 2 Find another PD customer and ask the source of their report 3 Pay for new report 3 12345 go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 110586 |
