Thanks!! I have loved reading your blog and you must be so excited about tomorrow.... I wouldn't be expecting any sleep tonight either Thanks for your comments regarding our changes, I hope they look and work well, it's tricky when you don't have the option to actually see them in reality!! The linen change was always something we had wanted to do because we really wanted to have the kids desks recessed in their rooms. The landing seemed big enough to get away with doing it that way without reducing the size of the bedroom... I hope it was a good decision - I guess I wont know until I'm standing there looking at it have a great day tomorrow - and congratulations!! We got some quotes for plantation shutters from the company that is associated with PD. Thankfully I got some quotes from another window covering company in Berwick and for the same thing we were quoted half the price. http://lyndall-makingitup.blogspot.com.au/ Re: Building a Waldorf by Porter Davis 633Oct 22, 2012 1:35 pm Lyndielouie How is everyone going with window coverings or are you going to wait for later and do the old hanging up sheets for a while? Try Sharon's Curtains and Blinds and Blinds online too (Crosby furnishings) they're both local to SE Melb and were much more competitively priced. My husband and I really love the Waldorf and I'm really wanting to build it someday soon. I've enjoyed reading all the comments you guys made. I used to love reading your blog Tstr1a, before it got blocked. You were really informative. I hope I can only remember everything for when it finally comes time to actually go ahead with PD and build mine! I know what you mean, I have loved reading through this thread - in fact I can't believe there's one just devoted to the Waldorf! Do you guys have land already? We are building out West in Point Cook. Re: Building a Waldorf by Porter Davis 640Oct 26, 2012 11:35 am Hi emmyawards, welcome the waldorf appreciation club . Once you have seen the Waldorf none of the other houses seem to cut it. Even though we are building the waldorf I still love looking at new home layout and every single time I think Waldorf is so much better.
