Re: Building a Waldorf by Porter Davis 562Mar 28, 2012 5:37 pm Thanks Southtoeast. Please check the below for my selections. (My secret is I went with the same or similar as Berwick Waldorf display home, as I like that street appearance most, out of other display homes. Because of that upgraded Chastworth facade ) Elabana - Baramundi for roof tiles(Berwick-Waldorf had upgraded category tiles with Baramundi colour ) Homestead Blackwood for bricks (Berwick-Waldorf had Hawthorne thin bricks, colour consultant recommended the homestead blackwood as it is similar Hawthorne bricks by helping us to be within our budget). Interiors - mostly as Williams landing-Waldorf display home We went light colour for tiles and chosen the woodland grey for downpipes/gutter/fascia (This also as Berwick-Waldorf). Re: Building a Waldorf by Porter Davis 570Jun 25, 2012 7:10 am Lockup invoice received around 1st week of June. Currently in fixing stage and heard that this stage will be completed in couple of weeks time. Ours is bit of delay in lockup stage because of the bricks availability. Lockup stage in this month is really difficult because of the rain. Is the brick layering started for your build? We handed that over to our site supervisior which he took care of all that needed to done. If you have anymore questions that you need to know plls just let me know. and goodluck........... Re: Building a Waldorf by Porter Davis 579Jul 06, 2012 10:28 pm Hi everyone. We've opted to build the Waldorf 48 with PD. We're so glad to have chanced on this discussion thread as it's made us consider so many things that we hadn't thought of before. We're intending to go with the Manhattan facade as we're not keen on having a balcony. Has anyone else selected the Manhattan facade? We're hoping to be able to see some pics of, or drive by, a real life one instead of (what looks like) the mock up on the PD website. Thanks!
