Great to know I'm not alone on the boat. I'll certainly install cavity doors for ensuites and have further thoughts about the WIR. Hi Chris & Heli, Thanks for the info and I'll PM you to see those pictures if convenient. Re: Building a Waldorf or Marriot by Porter Davis 8165Oct 01, 2015 7:00 am You can definitely have sliding doors for both the ensuite and WIR. We put a sliding door for all our ensuites and was offered on WIR too but we liked them open Re: Building a Waldorf or Marriot by Porter Davis 8166Oct 01, 2015 1:35 pm BbsWaldorf Have anyone customized your windows sizes especially the windows living and dinning rooms? The extended windows in display home look great and especially the windows of home theater, living and dinning rooms in Williams Landing. But our SC told us there's no point to extend the window height & width in home theater, which sounds fair. He also didn't recommend extending living room window because of the possibility to put couch under the window and similar reasons with dinning room. I want to extend windows size to as similar as the display home, but it sounds unpractical. In addition to living & dinning rooms, I'm also considering to extend windows size in Lounge and add more windows in Office. I'm really keen to know your thoughts on windows. Thanks. Brandon I upgraded almost all my windows downstairs. Very worthwhile. Especially the dining room one. It's my favourite window. A nice big 3.6m wide x 1.5m high. Let's heaps of light through to the kitchen. Very happy with it. Just wondering. If you don't mind sharing, how long did it take PD to build you house from site start to handover? (Or how long it will likely be) And if you built over the Christmas break, how many weeks were tools down? TIA. Just hoping a quick straw poll will give me and others an idea of actual build time as compared to time allowed per contract. KDR Chadwick 41 Eastern Suburbs We started mid June and finished end of Jan. so about 7 months with roughly a 3 week break during Christmas. Apparently the PD (bigger than ours) down the road was just handed over 8 weeks early, so fingers crossed we might get into ours a bit earlier then our contracted end of May finish date. Re: Building a Waldorf or Marriot by Porter Davis 8170Oct 05, 2015 2:23 pm Hi all, While preparing my selection appointment and looking into the details of quotes and Day To Dream brochure, I'm surprised that many awesome features are only available to the master ensuite . For example, the 2,100 mm high wall tiles and Bank of drawer to vanity. What do you end up with the show wall and vanity in non-master ensuites?
