We're getting mixed messages from SS and previous slab supervisor on slab issues, and not very satisfactory answers. Following framing, there's an overhang of 20-25mm in three areas while another area has the an "underhang" portion extending significantly by at least 20mm. This is obviously not a framing issue but due to the slipshod slab pour. The slab supervisor had previously indicated that some rectification will occur post-framing stage by concreters. Now current SS says that one overhanging portion (25mm) has been bolted down and will not require further works. I do not see bolts in the other overhanging areas. So the bolts they put in will secure the relevant frame (but lead to further stress on the slab???). However, my understanding is that overhanging frames will lead to bricks overhanging subsequently. Would this be correct? If that is the case, what is the actual remedy for this? Three options 1 Ask the liquidator 2 Find another PD customer and ask the source of their report 3 Pay for new report 3 13104 go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 111010 |
