Re: Building a Waldorf or Marriot by Porter Davis 7749Jun 06, 2015 11:05 pm Hello there. Does anyone know how much weight a standard batten and nogging can hold for larger dining/void/lounge lights? We had requested for additional strengthening in the sale quote but it's not reflected in the contract - old BC told us to mention this to our SS during build and not required for contract. We are getting an additional nogs for each feature light and pendant. It was no hassle for PD at all. They are documented on our plans. We discussed at our electrical selections and noted on contract where these where to go. Had to pay extra for them though (not much). On my blog if you check out out electrical plans you will see them documented. We have noggings for these pendant lights indicated in the electrical plan and sales quote but not stated in the contract. Are these noggings installed at frame stage or by the electrician? Just wondering when to let SS know. Re: Building a Waldorf or Marriot by Porter Davis 7755Jun 07, 2015 2:13 pm newbiekenobi Thanks for the feedback guys.
