Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 28, 2011 11:47 am While titles aren't out till end of April we've just got conditional approval for the finance and paid a deposit to the builder to start drawing up our contract/plans so thought I'd start my own thread. I've loved reading everyone elses threads and hounding others for hints and tips on what to look out for. We are building on a front loading narrow lot in Success. Picked up the land in August last year because we loved the location and the delay on titles suited our timeline. We went to heaps of builders but we decided on the Jacaranda for our house, due to our lot shape it had to be modified, but I'm quite happy how it turned out and glad we could fit it on! Its the same as our current hall at home though and we managed to get all the furniture through so hopefully it should be ok. Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense.
