Plus a shell of a house with stuff inside ! Re: New build - Southern River WA 9Mar 02, 2011 3:03 pm wrexter Hey jaredlia, I am building with New Gen also, i am building the Clorado. we signed up almost a year ago but only started brickwork this week (we delayed it a bit with being too picky :p). It has been a smooth ride so far, looking forward to following your build. All the best. (P.S. we like photos) Hey Wrexter, I have been following your progress, as you were pretty much the only New Gen home being built at the moment. Be good to follow your build too. We liked the Colorado too, big house! Good luck with the build. Cheers Re: New build - Southern River WA 10Mar 02, 2011 5:41 pm Welcome to the forum! Ensuit and WIR look much better with double basin and double shower. 3. i really like what you did with activity and kitchen changes, that area labelled 'Activity' is a nice area for a bar! the long kitchen benches look nice. 4. also like the recess ceilings, wish we could afford that! ran out of budget :p Re: New build - Southern River WA 13Mar 03, 2011 10:31 am wrexter Thanks Jared, I like all the changes you have made compared to original plan. 1. Yeh definitely need the bigger garage. I wanted bigger but wasn't allowed by the council as would have been over 50% of block coverage. Haha, yes only labelled activity. Will definitely be the bar room in the future. And I wished we had gone 31C ceiling in parts but the same as you, ran out of budget. Can only do so much hey. Re: New build - Southern River WA 15Apr 09, 2011 7:29 pm Hey Jared, Agree with wrexter, the changes you made to the inital plans are great. We're nearly at the end of our build, they think about another 4 weeks and then the final inspection. We can't wait, and we are now getting quotes for some landscaping, so all very exciting. We have been impressed with how quickly our house has gone up. The slab was down just before Xmas, then in January they started the bricks. Even the neighbours have been impressed that there has been someone on site nearly every day. Look forward to seeing the photo's. Good slab weather won't dry too quick and crack. Should get bricks delivered in a week and bricking to start a week after that (2 week curing time for slab). Btw, slabs always look small. It will all make sense when walls and ceilings are in. Looking forward to the progress Re: New build - Southern River WA - SLABBED!!!!!! 19May 15, 2011 10:36 pm Congrats on the slab! my new build thread- Ben Trager https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89826 my switch build thread (2011) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=36569 Re: New build - Southern River WA - SLABBED!!!!!! 20May 27, 2011 11:09 am Been out to site yesterday and we now have bricks, window frames, etc....
