Re: Balmoral Rd release kellyville 1086May 08, 2012 11:17 am For info on our build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43093 Built the McLaren by Dechellis - slab down 22 Feb - handover 30 Aug 2011 - and gardens finished 9 Dec 2012!! Re: Balmoral Rd release kellyville 1088May 28, 2012 12:41 pm gunny We also took out carpet from the whole house. We wanted to do either high grade laminate or timber floor. We are again saving about 10k compared to DiLorenzo quote. Dilorezo is a joke. We are also building with Wisdom. Hi Gunny, stumbled on this thread. We're considering Wisdom as one of our builders. Just wondering, are you getting the floors done after handover, or so Wisdom allow you to bring your own flooring people prior to handover? Re: Balmoral Rd release kellyville 1089Jun 14, 2012 7:05 pm So we just found out a bit of interesting information. DH has just been on the phone with telstra trying to see how long it would take to get phone hooked up, well we don't have Telstra wires that they can't connect For some unknown reason the developer has not arranged for Telstra to put the cable in the street, so now Telstra has to work it out, but it looks like it could be a couple of months, not good when DD is in the middle of the HSC without Internet access. Re: Balmoral Rd release kellyville 1092Jun 14, 2012 7:35 pm oh dear... What about gas? We have to get gas connected to our place (it is in our street, so only $125 connection fee) but that made me think about what happens in new estates? Is there gas to your street yet? And the other services? It doesn't mean anything then ?? When is HSC? Re: Balmoral Rd release kellyville 1099Jun 14, 2012 8:38 pm Might start the service provider connection thing too so we aren't held up by that minor detail lol Can't you get DD a wireless USB thingy that you don't need a landline with modem connected.
