Re: kitchen stone from builder or privately during construct 10Feb 18, 2011 10:28 pm donuts we had our benchtops installed during constructions through a private mason. both parties were very amenable to it, the builder allowed access, made a template for the mason etc, the mason came and did his stuff, all good. the only hiccup was on the day before handover when the stove was being installed they realised the hole in the stone wasn't big enough. the mason had cut the hole as per the template, but there was a bit underneath that wasn't accounted for in the template, if that makes sense. so technically it was the builder's fault, but the stone mason came out and fixed it free of charge. we just couldn't use the stove for a couple of days till they could come, and the dust they generated when they fixed it was a bvgger to deal with... but it was worth it for the money we saved if my builder and mason can work together - it will be so easy for me to make a decision. thanks donuts Can you give advice on how to get missing certificates needed for a form 21? Our bank requires us to provide one but we are missing 4 building certificates from our first… 3 71813 1 62023 How are you doing Ben?
