Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 12, 2011 8:39 am Our build is getting close to completion and I was wondering how long people generally allow/need for their PCI? I've read topics on this on here so I'm aware that the PCI is the last chance to raise any concerns/issues with the build. I'm also aware that some builders can be a bit precious and try and refuse the use of torches. What are people's experiences with their PCI and what sort of issues have you had that you have raised at your PCI? I'm trying to get any ideas of what to look out for. I plan on taking a ladder and a torch, necessary for checking that the roof insulation has been done properly. Should I take an electrical item to check that powerpoints work or is that being too pedantic?
