Hi All

Just wanted to know if anyone has built with UrbanEdge Homes in Victoria?

What was the experience like with them?

Do you have any words of advice?

I like their style however none of their floorplans suited us.

I would be interested in your thoughts on the build quality and services.

Also, would you be able to let me know the price as compared to other builders.

So did you end up building with them? We're about to start with them... I haven't heard anything bad about them, but then I haven't heard anything good about them either

We once asked them to quote... they are cheaper than other builders.

But their designs are so limited.. so didn't go with them.

We're in the midst of organising our tender. So far so good! They've been great to deal with, and have had a lot of really great ideas.

I'm looking at building with them as well. After my not so great experience with our currently chosen builder. We'll try to give them a visit...

Toast, when is your site start? Are they ok to do changes to floor plans?

We had a few delays with our land. We were told by Oliver Hume that it would title at the end of Feb, and so we organised the building around that. Unfortunately, the land only titled last friday, so we don't have a confirmed start date yet. But some time very soon

We made a couple of major changes to our floorplan, and they more than happy to meet our requirements. We extended the alfresco out to the boundary (4m) with a solid wall on the boundary, increased the width of the garage by about 1.5m to have it to the boundary, added a window to the front of the garage rather than having a super wide garage door, and added double doors to the back of the garage.

The upgrades you made a really nice. Makes the house look even better and with even bigger living and useable spaces.

hey all,

apparently they are expanding and now building in south east. they are in the saturday herald sun HOME MAGAZINE, and they are priced as displayed. i called up one of their displays, and it sounds okay, considering the style and design.
