Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Riverwalk @Werribee 141Jul 10, 2015 3:24 pm Hi, my name is Garry & I am close to moving to Riverwalk. I have called iinet to get the internet connection, they are unable to find my address/lot number as they said the addresses are mixed up in FTH. Does anyone know how to get around this problem? Thanks Re: Riverwalk @Werribee 142Dec 08, 2015 9:49 am Hey all, I know this is an old thread but I have just put a deposit on a block in stage 14. I have heard (after the deposit) that there have been delays with titles etc. Was just wondering what experience everyone has had with this. We are building with Fairhaven Homes and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them as well? Regards, Jeff Re: Riverwalk @Werribee 143Dec 09, 2015 8:26 pm Hey Jeff join the FB page. Anyone know what will be released after 19A and B? I would love to know what will be to the North of Stages 17 and 18. I don't want to buy a block and potentially end up with an alleyway or high density section behind us. We will be moving into the estate next month to get a feel for the location while we wait for the land. I also requested to join the FB group but nothing as yet... Any recommendations when it comes to buying land at a release? I have pretty definite requirements as far as land size and orientation so want to make sure I can secure the block I want. Second Time 'Round Re: Riverwalk @Werribee 145Oct 08, 2018 10:36 am We liked two properties in Riverwalk and about to sign the contract in two days. And got to know about the Werribee tip which is around 5 kms from riverwalk estate. Do you guys have any feedback on that? Re: Riverwalk @Werribee 146Oct 08, 2018 10:41 am You can't smell it and if it wasn't mentioned you wouldn't know it's there. We've been in here for 3 years now and absolutely love it. Pretty much everyone says the same. We're a tight nit community and we have our own facebook page where we're all connected on issues and matters in the estate. Unfortunately you do need to be a resident of Riverwalk to join as in the past people have joined not living in the estate which was a safety concern from the residence (ie when people were away etc.) Building CH Ascot MK2 29 Contract - 3/5/13 Site Scrape - 16/9/13 Slab - 26/9/13 Framing - 30/9/13 Roof - 10/10/13 LockUp - 19/10/13 Fixing - 1/11/13 Painting - 11/11/13 Re: Riverwalk @Werribee 149Oct 08, 2018 1:13 pm Environmental Justice website has specific comments on the tip, including a forecast in August of a mooted 12 hectare expansion. With China's reluctance to accept Aussie waste tip expansions are evermore likely. |
