We just noticed after todays wet weather in Melbourne, our roof is leaking in the garage and master bedroom... Dunno whom to call tomm. morning and whether builder will fix it? As it is leaking for abour 2 hrs now, not sure whether the roof will collapse... Are there trades people specialised in roofs and would the plumber be able to fix it? Have two little ones at home and bit terrified about his whole thing... If it's just a bit here and there near the walls, there's probably nothing to be done - one of those once-in-a-lifetime events. Best to call your builder anyway, to be sure. Check light fittings and fans, make sure there's no water coming through those. If there is, DON'T use them until you get them checked. I got up on the roof and did not find any damage to the roof tiles so it seems that there is something wrong with the drainage. This is the first time we have noticed and wonder if this is under 7 year warranty... This is the probably the first time the house is subjected to so much rain...
