We've followed up our CSR about the pre-plaster inspection report (whether she has already forwarded it to our SS) and the variation for the change in grout colour and removal of floor tiling to our ground floor wet areas.

AS she hasn't been responding (again) since Monday, we decided to forward our email to her manager. WE're just worried that pre-plastering would start anytime, as SS told DH last Friday.

Ok, time for a mini update..

Our pergola was finished last Friday (at last!) and we really love it!

But I reckon it's NOT really finished yet... remember the long timber pieces placed in our Family area? SS said that it's gonna be used for the pergola... hmmm.. probably for timber slats!

Need to order the sofa very soon, as it normally takes between 2 months to 4 months to order a sofa (depending on the supplier).

Wow! It's really coming along VJ

I love the look of your home - it is so nice! I actually drove past it the other day on my way to look at some homes of bricks that Boral gave me, and I nearly crashed as I was admiring it :oops:

Never too early to order - they usually take longer to arrive than they say....still waiting on a tub chair that was sue in a few weeks ago!!

I agree, Paula.
The ones that we ordered at Natuzzi will be delivered in November!
Should we decide to buy a sofa from them, they are going to deliver them together.

i remember when we first rented this place...
we only had fridge, microwave, a small TV and washing machine (all paid in cash, as we couldn't even get a credit card at that time!)
our small tv looks very small in our big lounge and we were laying a picnic rug on the carpeted floor when watching TV.
we used to eat dinner on our kitchen benchtop and used to sleep on a 2-inch foam that my husband's relative lent us (from her old sofa bed)...

so are they going to use it for the floor of the pergola? looks like the roof bit is already done? looks great by the way! almost balinese style?!

love your new furniture too!

And if your sure about what your after it's not to early to order furniture we waited about 4 to 5 weeks for a bed.

the style of the pergola is actually outdated.. they have newer designs now, but we specifically asked for that style because we fell in love with it when we saw it in one of PD's display homes... although we noticed that M's version is better...

btw, was the Luna lamp that we ordered the one that you are after? it's 15% at Natuzzi... and they have different types...

Yes VJ, we needed to wait fir our beds 4-6 weeks

I'd also get the appliances early and ask them to hold them.

Good to hear that you also love the table.
We reeeealllyy looovveeeee it!
We are going this Saturday to the house so DH can draw (using a chalk probably) the table on our dining area and visualise how big it would be. We could still opt for a smaller one, but price would be the same.

Good luck on your handover.. hope there would be no major issues at all.

For the appliances, we asked Myer if they could stock it for us this early, they said no. They will only hold it for a month. So, we are planning to order it by August.. but what if there's no SALE in August?

Do you mean bedroom furniture or just the mattress?? maybe not a long wait on the mattress.

SALE?? I'd but it on sale then try to store it :wink:
