On the 12th (Monday), the timber glazed doors were delivered:

when we checked the progress on the 17th,
HT doors were installed:

pantry sliding doors were installed:

and so as the bathroom tub:

however, there was ponding at the family area:

We have front cladding!!!

Electricals were installed:
HT area (but no HT cabling yet)

and plumbing too:


we still have missing bricks near the kitchen window, as they changed the window to the correct size (a smaller one). the hot water unit will also be installed in this area.

hmm... we noticed that some of the bricks on top of the front window have different colours (a bit peachy.. like Cotham, we reckon):

and the mortar colour looks different... we were thinking it might be because it's still a bit wet. We will come back tomorrow to check the colour again. If that proves to be different, we will tell our SS.

at the moment...
We just wonder whether the Mid-September handover date is still feasible to achieve. Let's cross our fingers...

how strange bout those bricks? are they going to render that bit perhaps?

and Bec, we won't be having any rendered area.

Wonder if we can still ask them to change those bricks.

I think so. When I emailed the photo to our CSR, SS responded to DH as if it wasn't really an issue, as according to him it would still be covered by some sort of cladding. But when we checked the display home photos and the plans, there wasn't any cladding at all. Then DH told SS that they have to do the cladding to all posts to make it uniform. SS agreed, but said they won't do it for the pergola posts.. hehe...

but we'll miss you here

Very nice house. Its all looks good except photos from last weeks due to the ponds. It looks fantastic now...
