Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 24, 2011 10:54 pm Does anyone know if the Boral Macquarie roof tile in Charcoal Grey color from P@rter D@vis is standard or an upgrade ? We are building a 29sq single storey house and was wondering if someone knew what the associated costs are. Thanks in advance.. Re: PD Boral Macquarie (Charcoal Grey) - standard or upgrade 2Jan 28, 2011 12:43 pm Hi baronx, I have had a look into this for you to help answer your question. The colour Charcoal Grey is a colour through tile which means it goes right through the tile from front to back, not simply painted on top of a paint concrete tile. Because of this it is a more expensive colour and will be an upgrade to a Category 5. Similar to the bricks this is a volume based order (depends on size of roof cover between different house types) we are unable to offer a price at Hopetoun. I would be confident however in suggesting the cost could be anything from $3,000 to $5,000 as a guide only and final prices are confirmed at time of contract signing (again clients are welcome to reduce this cost if needed at contract and re-select a more affordable option). I hope that helps you out. Cheers, Jess. Porter Davis Homes Questions?
