Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 22, 2011 2:28 am Hi, I'm building a home with AV Jennings in Canberra. Approximately 3 months ago, I submitted a Post Contract Variation (PCV) which was signed and dated by both the building and myself. Specifically, this requested the builder to fit Sisalation Wall-Wrap between the frame studs and bricks. Instead, they have used a 'generic' wall wrap which does not have any brand written over it. This same wall wrap has also been fitted to a number of other surrounding homes which are also being build by AV Jennings. Seeing as though I spent much time researching the different types/brands of wall wraps, and finally decided up the Sisalation brand which I paid a premium for, I am thoroughly disappointed. To make matters worse, half the house has already been bricked, so I doubt they could even replace it with the brand/type I requested. What are my options with regards to this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this is my first home!! Re: PCV not conducted??! 2Jan 22, 2011 8:41 am Bassfreak55 Hi, I'm building a home with AV Jennings in Canberra.
