Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 10, 2007 3:26 pm Hi
The DCP where we are building requires 9 foot (2.7) ceilings. This adds quite a bit to the cost of the house and to be honest we aren't really fussed about having 9ft ceilings. (We will be complying with the DCP in all other respects.) The council planner has told me (verbally) we can apply to vary from the DCP but we need to justify the variation. I was wondering if anyone out there has successfully justifed having a lower ceiling height than what is stipulated in the DCP? Thanks in advance *flower* Re: Anyone justified a variation to the DCP re ceiling height? 2Dec 10, 2007 3:53 pm flower,
