Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 20, 2011 2:19 pm Hi all, Need advice from anyone who has got light timber flooring in their house. We have decided to go for the Blackbutt ( from CarpetCall). Will be having carpets in all the bedrooms ( Builder's getting them from CarpetCall) . The million dollar question is whether to go for a darker shade or a lighter shade. Planning to go lighter shade for ensuite tiles since our cabinet colors are dark ( Nocturne Oak ) Please post the pic of your timber-carpet color scheme if you have one. Thanks Re: Carpet Color to go with Timber Flooring 3Jan 20, 2011 2:34 pm Thanks B Star. I thought of going darker shade, something like this combo. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae29 ... ckbutt.jpg Do you have any pics? Thanks Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 16058 1 15956 Thank you. Do I use timber floorboards for stairs or do people use timber treads? Or is both the same? 6 7451 |
