Hi folks,
I am currently designing a new home in Bacchus Marsh Victoria and I need some advice regarding design of passive thermal concrete floor on a slope. I have a plan that has the Nth end if the property as a thermal slab approximately 5m x 12m. The builder has advised that we cannot lay a slab over the backfill from any cutting as it will not be compacted enough. I have looked at suspended slab systems like Bondek and EZI deck as well as Hebel floor. Does anyone have any other options I could look at? The lower half of the slab will be over a split level lower floor so the thermal ground contact will be lost here. The block slopes down west to east about 3.5m in 22m width
Thanks
