Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 19, 2011 2:34 pm Hi, has anybody got, or even seen, a roof in Paperbark colorbond? My DH has got his heart set on a light coloured roof, I managed to talk him out of Classic Cream (too lemon, IMHO) but I cant shift him to Dune or Surfmist. The house is a semi-rural double storey, black aluminium windows, and render of light coffee colour (yet to be determined). 3 roof gables in timber look-alike, to match timber look garage door. I am stressing big time, because I havent seen a roof of this colour, and it makes me ask WHY??? Any opinions gratefully accepted. Re: Colorbond roof in Paperbark??? 2Jan 19, 2011 3:45 pm they have an example on the colorbond website. http://www.colorbondcolours.com/go/bsl-colour-centre-swatch/paperbark Your house roof does not show rusting other than some surface rust on the flashings. In my opinion you dont need to replace or paint the roof other than treat surface rust… 1 10281 You should pressure clean your roof first and make sure the paint you buy also is anti mould. 4 18958 Hi all, Our boundary perimeter fences need replacing (3 sides). From everyone's experience, what would you install? Timber lapped and capped OR colorbond? Thank you. 0 2937 |
