We are both getting very close to completion. Did you have to pay extra to have you handles horizontal? It was an upgrade for us so I said no but know I feel like I've already dated the kitchen! Re: Building the McLaren by Dechellis 529May 17, 2011 1:39 pm JohnnyD Love the kitchen & what a great idea getting a desk made for the study. Pity you can't be there when the tradies are so you could get some inside shots. . .we were always doing that. Loretta Hi Loretta - it is frustrating - DH walks past everyday and there are workmen there but won't go inside and take pictures for me The study will be fantastic with the built-in desk - I also got them to change the bottom drawer to a filing drawer which cost a little extra but so worth it. laura2009 Mclaren - that's fantastic. We are both getting very close to completion. Did you have to pay extra to have you handles horizontal? It was an upgrade for us so I said no but know I feel like I've already dated the kitchen! Hi Laura - We built "as displayed" and the handles were like in the display home but we went bigger (no extra charge as it was the same level we had paid for) - yes it does look more modern doesn't it and I'm happy that we couldn't have handles on the middle top cupboards too - looks cleaner. Re: Building the McLaren by Dechellis 530May 17, 2011 1:46 pm I think the horizontal handles help to spread your eyes out (I think that sounds weird, hope you know what I mean). Love the front windows.
