We did not pay extra in the contract for the bigger ones, was a "free upgrade", however when we pointed out they were the wrong ones I negotiated an $800 refund. That was easiest for both parties. I dont think they wanted to re-do all the ceilings, I didnt have time to wait for it to get re-done and I got $800 back. We also major issue with the slab levels (couldn't lay timber boards) and the builder was very good and payed for my contractor to come and grind the slab back to level.
