Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 14, 2011 12:59 am Hi All, I'm a first home buyer looking to build a home with side living (i.e. alfresco on the side of the house). My primary reason for this is I have a 20m x 30m block and require side access for boat parking. Because the block is relatively short it wont leave any room at the rear because space is going to be required on the side of the house, however, with the side living concept, I think I could still achieve an open feel. The Astor, built by Summit homes, is a good example of what i mean. Link to floorplan is: http://www.summitnewhomes.com.au/Uploads/Downloads/the-astor.pdf Could anybody recommend similar style houses (by builders in WA)? I want to explore many possibilities before signing a building contract. Thanks! -Chris Re: Looking for floorplans similar to this! Recommendations 2Jan 14, 2011 7:01 am I don't think you will have any trouble, plan is similar to volume builders plans. Re: Looking for floorplans similar to this! Most builders would be happy to make minor adjustments to the house anyway. Replace a window with a sliding door and you can simply have your side alfresco. Really tight at the top of the stairs- how to get furniture into those rooms? Study books - does anyone really use them these days? Large storage closet would be more functional. 2 6886 Hi team, Im looking for a second hand sd4b monitor preferably white. 0 8923 Hi, I am looking into doing a KDR in Melbourne and am contemplating using Kialla Homes.
