Seems longer than that, as I have started the demolition back in April.
I am still weeks away from completion. Hoping for end of Feb at this stage, plus I need to do several electric works and flooring myself after handover. Most delays for me were caused by me finding small issues. Every issue found by an inspector, no matter how big or small turned out into a minimum of 3 weeks delay. All the trades booked had to be cancelled til the issue can be resolved, and the people who need to come back to fix it are usually busy. So I had 2 delays of about a month each time, and hope for painters to start next week at this stage. A two storey house often takes a fair bit longer than single storey as well.
