You've done well pre-colour appt. Don't worry too much. I think you have it under control. Have you cut any photos out from magazines or anything of what you like? that's what I did. It helped a bit but I already had a good idea what I wanted. The colour consultant should be helping you choose the colours that compliment what you have already chosen. But colours did my head in until I saw them in the house I was still unsure. Good luck. It'll work out fine. PS: Antique white walls...awesome. Love antique white. Wouldn't have chosen anything else. Re: colour appointment 3Dec 12, 2010 11:22 am Hey there Huddo, my house isn't built yet so my taste is yet to be tested, but you've got lots of colours going on there. Buttermilk, pesto, Ginger, parchment, Zulu, oyster... Mostly autumn tonings. Can u consolidate the bathroom and ensuite plus laundry a little? For the kitchen, if you want a bold look you could go with something dark on overheads like wenge and an orange or parchment splashback. Or parchment overheads and an oyster splashback. I'm trying to reverse the colours between the two bathrooms and I just love pesto linea but it's too dark for the kitchen (it's in the middle of the house with no natural light) so that's why I wanted it in the ensuite. Not set in stone for the bathroom, just tossing ideas up with the reverse colour thingy. Laundry will be whatever the bathroom is. Re: colour appointment 5Dec 12, 2010 7:06 pm I think you've done really well pre-appointment to have the external colours sorted. I would probably consider black windows with those colours as they just blend into your house but I almost always prefer black windows so am a bit biased!! Love the antique white walls, I think the white walls are timeless, and will really bring out the bolder colours you have chosen elsewhere. As for the overheads, it depends if you like the two tone look. I personally prefer them all the same, but without knowing the size/layout of your kitchen it is hard to say. If it is a smaller kitchen or is in a corner you might be best to go with some lighter overheads but if it is a roomy and light room then go all the same. After all, it is completely personal preference! I think all your tones will work well together. Personally I would probably stick with the same look for the bathroom, laundry and ensuite but I like to play it safe. I have seen so many different ideas on here that work really well with different colours so I wouldn't rule it out. Enjoy your colour appointment!!!
