Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Ourhome - Need some help with my questions on backyard 281Jul 04, 2011 11:15 am I am looking for a good local handyman in our area(Epping, Vic). I have to get some shelves fixed in one of the corner and some hooks fixed for hanging some frames. Each of those frames weigh around 4.5kgs. The frame is covered with silver leaf and has a back ground of black. Re: Ourhome-need suggestions for choosing color for feature 287Jul 07, 2011 12:24 am Anyone here with any suggestions for me. I would be painting the feature wall on my own. Any suggestions for helping me choose the colour is mist welcome. Re: Ourhome-need suggestions for choosing color for feature 288Jul 07, 2011 9:26 am You have a lot of colours to choose from - just pick your favourite and go with it!! You could go with either the green or blue on the peacock's body - can you find something with those colours (a sheet/cardboard?) so you can see what it looks like against the frames and the peacock? If it was me I would probably leave the wall as is and leave the pics and peacock to be the feature - there's plenty of interest/colour there. Re: Ourhome-need suggestions for choosing color for feature 289Jul 08, 2011 12:16 am Thanks a lot Mclaren for the idea. With so many things going on in my mind it never struck me that I can leave the walls the way they are. In one way I think it would look fantastic. Thanks a lot. I have the curtains and blinds too coming on the 9th of this month. Once it is all up I think it would look lovely to leave the walls the way they are. Thanks a lot. I did not think it was going to be so easy for me. So the decision is made. No colour for feature wall. No the next big thing is getting the back yard sorted out. Phew. I love this. Re: Ourhome - done with blinds and curtains loving it. 290Jul 10, 2011 11:15 am Got the blinds and curtains fixed in the house yesterday. I will share the pics soon. Once there is proper sunlight then I can click good pics and post it. I am getting the frames fixed tomorrow. Along with these frames posted above I have around 4 more canvas family portraits to be put in the family room. I will post the pics once they are fixed. They have their showroom in Dandenong, but they also have salesman who can come to our home for the quotes. I am very very happy with the product. It's fabulous. They have a massive range to choose from. If anyone is interested I can pm them all the details. I had a similar issue with my fridge not too long ago. It wasn't the same model, but the symptoms were pretty much the same: the compressor would start and then stop… 3 7516 Okay sorry silly me, my wife has solves the mystery for me. It’s because the labels on the ports are all wrongly positioned by the builder hence it confuses me. 2 1373 |
