Our Liason called us on this Friday afternoon to inform us that our Slab would be poured on Monday 13th Dec 2010. It was scheduled to be poured on this Friday but they had a issue with some of their equipment, the replacement for that equipment did not arrive till late noon on Friday. I am just keeping my fingers crossed so that the weather does not play up on this Monday morning and the slab pouring goes as per schedule. Too excited for that. I and my wife are going there tomorrow in the noon just to check the preparations they have done before the slab is poured.

We visited our land today to see the preps done by Bbank before the slab pour. We had a pleasant surprise there. Our Frames had already been delivered. Even before the slab is poured. I clicked some pics.

We also have a meterbox now...Yayyyy. Now I am just keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow. Hopefully the weather is good and there are no goofups in pouring the slab by the contractors. Hopefully they measure everything and take utmost care in pouring the slab. I have heard some really horror stories these days of problems at the slab stage.

We have our frames up too. Just visited today late in the evening to check the slab, But to my surprise all the frames were up too. It all looks good.

I still have to call Yarra Valley Water for finding out about having the taps moved from the front of the house. Will keep you guys posted once i speak to them on this Monday. So far I have been very happy with the progress. I saw the frames and slab, it all looks good.

I called up YVW early today morning with the request of having the taps moved from the front of the house. They said that I can have it moved on my own by a licensed plumber or have my builder do it for me. They do not have any issues with me having the taps moved as long as there is no change in the placement of the water meter.

I spoke to my Liason about that uf they can have the taps moved for me. But they Saudi would have to get it done on my own after the handover. I am looking at spending some good amount after the handover on having these taps moved to a decent location, unless it get hidden behind my letter box which also us coming there (as per my plans).

Has anyone had their taps moved in the past? If anyone has can you please let me know how much would I be looking at spending to have them relocated. Any information with these regards is most welcome.
