Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 09, 2010 1:04 pm Hi Everyone
We are building our first home together and I am a bit stumped on external colouring. I've attached pic of house from home catalogue, and then from our floor plans as the house has been flipped and we have added a double garage: What we have so far is: Left hand side of house facing front with windows and back of wall where front door is in Shale Grey rendered - Is there a nicer grey for front of house? Right hand side of house above garage and garage doors both in SurfMist and rendered. Roof Colour - Deciding between Char Grey and Gun Metal Grey or Coal in Colorbond colours Gutter Color : Monument Fascia : Monument Eaves : White on White or Surfmist Awning on left hand side : White on White to add a bright POW color Top of house where it has a pointy peak : White on White The three colums on the front of the house are all decked out in Stacker Stone in a light grey colour, I am concerned we have gone overboard with the Stacker Stone?? The front door will be white on white The windows in Ultra Silver Gloss The balcony is glass I am stuck on the grey and the Surfmist on the garage side? I was thinking more of a White Crystal around the garage to set off the Surfmist roll a doors? Doe anyone have any advice for me? We are going for a more 'executive' feel and I have attached some pics of the feel we are going for, but have no idea if I am even close I am having difficulty uploading pics so have added the link to the house we have chosen, though imagine it flipped with a double garage http://www.kurmondhomes.com.au/two-stor ... ington.asp Re: Help please on external colours 3Dec 10, 2010 7:14 am Sorry I can't see any pics? I am not good at picturing it from the description. I can't really imagine having the different colours each side of the house? Perhaps I'm not understanding what you meant. Sorry!
