I have done a few rooms. When I say done, they are unpacked and tidied, not necessarily decorated yet. LOL I'm going to take my time as there's lots to buy and do so I think I'll start a thread in Interior Decorating and see what happens. Some of the rooms are kinda boring right now... Anyway here's a few. Master Bedroom - Definately needs some bedside lights. Thinking of getting a celing pendant on one side... My bargain doona cover cost me $49.95 from Sheridan as opposed to the orginal $300 price tag or something ridiculous. Loving the space at the end of the bed. Feels more roomy than I thought it would be. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Ensuite - Not really the right color mirror but it does tie in with the white birch window which is opposite. So its staying... Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Lounge - Probably the most bland room in the house at the moment. We have only one lounge suite (2 and 2.5 seaters) which is split in two rooms at the moment until we get another one. So eventually the 2.5 seater will be moved into here. The mirrors need a home and also the box isn't staying there. I'm going to spruce it up and put it elsewhere. Not sure where yet. Where to put the kitchen aid. Its in the left display case at the moment, should I put it out on bench somewhere? Also are the plates and tea pot looking too daggy? They're my grandmothers and nan's and I have no place for them at the moment except there... Powder - last pic for tonight. This is my best bargain in the whole house. The mirror in powder was a grand total of $2 from a cheap scan find in target!!!! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Back with more one day. Re: CheerupCharlie's house - Updated Photos MOVED IN 239Sep 02, 2011 8:12 pm hmmm... might have to 'borrow' some ideas The last pic of the powder room is exactly how I want mine to look and also the pantry with the bench and deep shelves under with narrow over top. We clean missed it and now have to sort that out one day... Pantry is amazing, can't fault it at all. Even the space from entry to back wall is really great as you can have two people in there and not feel too crowded. pattycake - sure thing I'll take some pics for you soon. We are totally loving the planks, we haven't been careful with them and I'm yet to see a scratch which is amazing given we've been moving a lot of furniture etc.. around. The only con I can think of is that they are a little hard underfoot. I tend to wear slippers around the house anyway but its more getting used to the feeling. Because if we drop something it still bounces and in fact tonight we dropped something and didn't hear it hit the floor! The hardness would come from having a slab underneath as we have friends with a house on stumps and the vinyl feels quite different there. We're super happy with it. The joins are a black plastic(?) strip. I wasn't sure about them at first and thought I might change them but I'm used to them now and don't notice them. I think to change it would make it too obvious. Kiwi, yep loving it. Can't believe its mine. Joe, it depends on your certifier but we are noticing the ones we deal with are really cracking down.
